Lake Placid Middle School

LPM will is providing a student celebration for those who showed improvment and/or demonstrated proficiency on the recent assessments by allowing them the opportunity to go the gym or commons on Friday 5/23/25. There will be candy, snacks, pop corn, and cotton candy sold at the event. Students will have the opportunity to have recerational time in the gym or go to the commons for a movie. We want to thank our students, parents & guardians, and our staff for their tremendous effort and support on the assessments. LPM, The Place to Be!

Lake Placid Middle School will be presenting Academic Awards on Thursday 5/22/25. We will recognize students on the A-B Honor Roll for the entire year, 8th grade students who have a cumulative GPA of 4.0 for their entire middle school career, and presenting the Thakkar Awards to two students at each grade level.

Due to growing student interest in the 2025-26 LPHS Marching Band, we are holding a 2nd Information Meeting this Thursday, May 15 at 6:30 pm in the LPHS Band Room. LPM will administer the 2024–25 B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 and Geometry End-of-Course Assessments on Monday 5/12/25. If your student is currently enrolled in either course, please make sure they are prepared for testing on Monday by: 1. being well rested prior to the assessment, 2. arriving to school on-time, 3. having a fully charged Chomebook, and 4. putting forth their best effort on the EOC. Mark your calendars for May 15th from 4:00-7:00pm to get your FREE physical and EKG at Lake Placid High School. Packets are available for students to pick up in the front office and during lunch times. Spring Dance Information for this evening, 4/25/25: The Dance time is 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Students attending the dance will be dropped off and picked up in the LPM Bus Loop (entry on the road between LPM and LPH). Please access the LPM bus loop from Green Dragon Drive (access from Tangerine Dr. will be closed). There will be various concession items for sale during the dance, please have students bring money to purchase the concession items. We are looking forward to a fun & memorable evening!
