Giddy Up, FWE! 🐎🌹 Mrs. Waters and Ms. Altman's classes joined in a fun and festive Kentucky Derby Race on Friday! With help from Mrs. Edwards, each student designed their very own creative race horse—made out of pool noodles! 🏇✨ Our amazing occupational therapist, who’s originally from Kentucky, brought a touch of home to Fred Wild Elementary by organizing this special event. Several exciting races took place, and even the staff joined in on the fun! It was a day full of laughter, learning, and racing memories. 💫🏁

A few of our FWE students had an awesome time at the 2025 Hook to Cook event on April 7th! 🎣 They enjoyed a fun day of fishing, learned how to tie hooks, clean fish, and even picked up some first-aid tips. Huge thanks to MyFWC, Sebring Police Department, and Highlands County Fire Rescue for giving our students such a memorable and exciting experience! 🐟💙
